On Thursday, the Everglades Trust (Trust) announced its endorsements of candidates running for the Florida Legislature for the 2022 general election.

Everglades Trust, a non-profit organization comprised of citizens and businesses “committed to protecting the Everglades,” on Tuesday endorsed Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) in his gubernatorial matchup against Rep. Charlie Crist (D-FL).

Governor Ron DeSantis was in Fort Myers Beach on Tuesday and was endorsed by Everglades Trust in his bid to hold his seat as governor.
